Biodiesel New Zealand

Producing at least half of the New Zealand Government’s biofuels target is the aim of this rapidly expanding manufacturer and supplier of environmentally friendly transport fuel.

Biodiesel New Zealand produces its high-quality fuel from used vegetable oil collected throughout the country. The resulting fuel is supplied to fleet operators who appreciate its operational and maintenance advantages over mineral diesel.

The business aims to increase output to 70 million litres a year by 2011. Increased use of Biodiesel will give New Zealand greater energy security and, as imported oil prices continue to rise, better affordability while reducing the sector’s environmental impact.
