Home Energy Advice Centre

The Home Energy Advice Centre offers impartial energy advice to householders who want to know how to reduce power bills and have a warmer home free of charge . Three not for profit Home Energy Advice Centres operate under the Energy Efficiency Community Network (EECN) with services based in Auckland, Wellington and Canterbury.

The Freephone service is open to homeowners or tenants who want independent advice about insulation, heating, ventilation, and appliances among other things. Advisors can also direct callers to relevant services and financial assistance for which they may be eligible.
