New Zealand is in a unique and privileged place in the world of skiing. The founder of Kingswood Skis, Alex Herbert spent 14 years before finally settling in his New Zealand home in 1997. For the last ten years, Kingswood has been making high quality skis based on unique design and innovations.

All kingswood  skis are handcrafted by expert craftsmen from sustainable Bamboo. In addition to the traditional solid sandwich structure. Each ski manufactured by Kingswood has had its edges pre glued and core hand shaped then warped in layers of strong fibreglass. The result is stable and solid skis custom made and fitted to each customer.
